This is the main distinction between a lawyer and an advocate. After joining a bar council, a lawyer qualifies as an advocate.
An advocate will have a law degree from a recognised university. Along with this, he will also have a license to practice law which he will have to take from bar council. When an advocate passes the Bar Council of India exam, he or she is permitted to practise in court.

Why we need more female advocates in India
Female lawyers, on average, show greater empathy and social abilities than their male counterparts. As a result, they manage their relationships with colleagues more effectively and take a more sensitive approach during negotiations, when clients' huge egos can easily be injured. Women excel as corporate legal counsel because of their capacity to multitask.
Furthermore, choices such as flexible scheduling and working from home have helped women to manage work-life balance, which is proving to be a win-win situation for both employers and women.
A lawyer is a legal practitioner who represents clients in court. According to research, female solicitors should have slightly more abilities than male solicitors. A lady lawyer has several attributes, such as excellent work efficiency, dedication, trust, and so on. However, as with other professions, the number of female lawyers in the legal field is equally low. Nonetheless, senior female lawyers are more of an exception than the rule. Although the threat of discrimination against women in the field has diminished, the next generation of lawyers may improve their circumstances.
